F.A.Q.
1. Will my downloads play on my iPod? Yes. Getting your downloads onto your iPod requires a couple simple steps. Download the song and add it to your iTunes library. Once it's in the library, right click on the song and a short menu will appear. Go to Get Info and click on the Info tab. When the info window opens, fill in the info with at least the Song title, Artist name, and Album Title. Fill in any other info that you may know. Your iPod needs the aforementioned info in order to fit the song into its file structure. Once you've done this, the song should sync to your iPod the next time you connect. If you haven't filled out this info, and you try to sync, your iPod will not accept the song. It will also forget where it is in your computer, so you will have to help it find the song before you can edit the info. So it's best to do the info edit right away. 2. When I click on the download link, the song starts playing in the media player right away without saving. How can I save it? Sometimes your default mp3 player is set up to start right away. You can stop the song and save it under the file menu of your player. This happens with Quicktime in particular, but it may happen with other players as well. 3. I can't download using AOL. Nobody can. It seems that AOL sees the music download as a virus or other threat so it shuts the download down. (hmmm...that was redundant.) We've tested several ways around this but the simplest is to switch to a different browser, IE or Firefox and download from there. Works great using them. Looks like AOL needs to catch up with the rest of us. If you have a problem and run out of download attempts, just contact us. |
